Nigerian rapper Oladips has accused Grammy winner Wizkid of intellectual property theft.
Oladips claims Wizkid used lyrics from his song ‘Ajala Travel remix’ in the recent collaboration with Asake, ‘MMS.’ He posted screenshots of the lyrics from both songs on Instagram.
While a fan suggested that sampling is common, Dips emphasized that it should be done with proper credit. He wrote, “It’s fine if you acknowledge the source! It’s not okay to act like you don’t know someone while using their lyrics.”

Wizkid has not yet responded to the allegations.
