Many have reacted to a trending video of some students destroying their smartphone after allegedly being told to do so by Parents’ Association of their school.
According to reports, the students of the yet-to-be-identified school in northern Nigeria were being punished over low academic performance.
In the video making rounds online, a student, who seemed very displeased with the activity was seen wiping tears away from her eyes.

Some adults were also seen sitting nearby as they monitor the students who were destroying their phones with stones.
