The leader of the Southern and Middle Belt Leaders Forum, Edwin Clark, has called on President Bola Tinubu to immediately implement the resolutions of the 2014 national conference.

Clark made this known when he received a 10-man delegation of Igbo leadership, led by former chairman of the Police Service Commission, Simon Okeke, at his Asokoro residence, Abuja.

He stated that implementing the confab report would help unite the country and bring the Igbos to the position they occupied before the civil war.

Clark also advised presidents to avoid making appointments on an ethnic basis, saying it portends a dangerous trend for the country.
