One of the organizers of the just concluded #EndBadGovernanceinNigeria protest, Take it Back Movement have hinted on the planning of a new protest in October.

Daily Report Nigeria recalls that a large number of people trooped out during the last protest from different places in the country, as they come to express their pain and lait out their desires.

Some of the demands includes: the scrap the Senate arm of the National Assembly and make law-making a part-time job for the House of Representatives, pay Nigerian workers a minimum of N250,000, reverse fuel prices and the cost of electricity tariffs to pre-January 2023, and to release and compensate all EndSARS and political detainees.

According to the Director of Mobilisation of the Take It Back Movement, Damilare Ademola, who confirmed the protest date plans to PUNCH’s representative, the protesters demands would remain the same unless there were other issues, requiring them to add more.

“Yes. It is called the ‘Fearless in October Protest’. Our charter of demands stands as same. If at all, we will add more as the country decays more,” he said.
