Arsenal have reached a verbal agreement with Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Romano revealed on X that the 23-year-old Spaniard is a key target for Arsenal as a potential replacement for Aaron Ramsdale, should the England keeper depart before the transfer window closes.

“Arsenal have agreed on personal terms with Joan García,” Romano tweeted. “He’s the top choice to replace Ramsdale if he leaves in the last days of the window. Espanyol know of Arsenal’s interest, but no official bid has been made yet; it depends on Ramsdale’s situation.”
