Manchester City’s Phil Foden was named PFA Player of the Season on Tuesday, adding to his collection after winning the Football Writers’ Association award three months prior.

The 24-year-old outshined his Manchester City teammates, Erling Haaland and Rodri, to claim the honor.

Foden played a pivotal role in helping Pep Guardiola’s side secure the Premier League title in May.

In his acceptance speech, the England international expressed his pride and gratitude.

“Winning this award is incredibly special, and I’m both proud and thankful,” Phil Foden said. “Being recognized by your fellow professionals is everything, and I want to thank everyone who voted for me.”
