Manchester United are reportedly close to securing the signing of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte, according to GFFN.
The transfer fee for Ugarte is expected to be around £51 million (€60 million), which matches the amount PSG paid to acquire him from Sporting last year.
PSG, the Ligue 1 champions, have been firm on maintaining that same valuation throughout the summer. While Manuel Ugarte made a strong start last season, he eventually lost his spot in the team under manager Luis Enrique.

Despite this, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is confident that the 23-year-old can make a significant impact at Old Trafford. As the transfer nears completion, Ugarte was notably absent from PSG’s squad for their Ligue 1 opener against Le Havre.
