Victor Boniface Breaks Silence After Receiving Ban, €25,000 Fine

Victor Boniface

Bayer Leverkusen forward Victor Boniface has spoken out after receiving a one-match ban and a €25,000 fine for unsportsmanlike conduct during a recent Super Cup match against VfB Stuttgart.

The German Football Association (DFB) confirmed the punishment on Wednesday. Boniface was penalized for making an obscene gesture, specifically raising his middle finger towards Stuttgart players during the post-match celebrations.

In response to the fine, which is roughly N44 million, Boniface took to social media to warn his followers, saying, “If you bill me for the next three months, I might block you. Let’s all be guided.”
