Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ contestant Chinwe recently stirred controversy by claiming that Grammy-winning afrobeats artist Wizkid is “no longer relevant.”

During a discussion with fellow housemates on Saturday, Chinwe argued that emerging afrobeats star Rema has now surpassed Wizkid in popularity.

She went on to praise Burna Boy for consistently living up to his superstar status. “Wizkid is no longer relevant. When was the last time he sold out a show? Even Rema is doing better than him,” Chinwe remarked. “Right now, Wizkid isn’t at the top of his game. He needs to prove himself and earn his status as a superstar. If it were Burna Boy, we wouldn’t be having this conversation. Burna Boy is really showing he’s at the top.”
