APC Candidate Dies Few Weeks to LG Election | Daily Report Nigeria

 

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the upcoming local government election in Jigawa State’s Kirikasamma local government, Yahuza Umar Labbo, has died. He was 55 years old.

The state party chairman, Aminu Gumel, confirmed Labbo’s death after a brief illness. He is survived by three wives and 15 children.

Governor Umar Namadi offered condolences to the family and the Muslim community, praying for eternal rest for the deceased and fortitude for the family to bear the loss.

The Jigawa State Local Government election is scheduled for October 5, 2024.
