The Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Dr. Tunji Alausa, confirmed this in a statement issued on Thursday, stating that the initiative is designed to support these facilities.

Alausa also inaugurated the Electronic Health Records system and Alternative Power Supply at the Lawal Jafaru Isah Emergency Complex, as well as a solarization project at the dialysis unit.

The Minister expressed his trust in the Chief Medical Director of the Hospital, Dr. Aishatu Yusha’u Armiyau, and acknowledged the achievements of the institution as a testament to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitments during his electoral campaign.

Additionally, Alausa addressed the ongoing warning strike by Resident Doctors, which is hindering efforts to secure the release of the kidnapped physician, Ganiyat Popoola.
