A group of suspected terrorists have killed three students in Yobe state.

Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the school, Faudiya School, which belongs to the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) was attacked in the early hours of Friday, August 30, 2024

Although the gunmen haven’t been ascertained to be the notorious Boko haram, but they’ve been alleged to have rode into the school on their motorbikes, and killed three students from the school.

 

Confirming the incident, the Yobe State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Dungus Abdulkarim said the victims were asleep when the gunmen attacked, and they proceeded to take some students outside, where they shot them.

Abdulkarim said he “received a distress call that some hoodlums came on motorbikes with AK-47 rifles and then entered into the school and shot dead three,” adding that one of the students who got injured had been taken to an undisclosed hospital where he’s receiving treatment.

He added that investigation has begun as the police force are working endlessly to find the perpetrator.
