Chidimma Adetshina has been crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2024.
Adetshina, a 23-year-old law student, previously had to withdraw from the Miss South Africa pageant amid xenophobic backlash regarding her nationality.
She returned to Nigeria to participate in the local competition.

The announcement was made by Guy Murray-Bruce, President of Silverbird Group, at the grand finale held at Eko Hotels & Suites, Lagos, on Saturday night.
Representing Taraba State, Adetshina emerged victorious in the closely contested event.
