Victor Osimhen is set to join Galatasaray on a dry loan after a flurry of negotiations led to an agreement between the Turkish club and Napoli.

The deal has been finalized, with all necessary documents now approved, marking a significant move in Osimhen’s career.

Under the terms of the deal, Osimhen will join Galatasaray on loan until June 2025.

Napoli has agreed to the transfer without a buy option or obligation, meaning that at the end of the loan period, Osimhen is expected to return to the Italian side.

The agreement includes a salary package of around €9 to €10 million, which Galatasaray will fully cover during the loan period.

This ensures that Victor Osimhen will continue to earn a substantial wage while playing in Turkey.

In addition to the loan arrangement, Napoli has included a release clause in the agreement, set at €75 million.

This clause gives Napoli the option to extend Osimhen’s contract until 2027, providing the club with some control over the striker’s future even as he spends the next two seasons in Istanbul.

This move comes after a proposed transfer to Premier League club Chelsea fell through at the last minute, leaving Osimhen in a state of confusion.

However, the loan to Galatasaray represents a fresh opportunity for the Nigerian international to prove himself in a new league and continue his development as a top-tier striker.

With the transfer window closed in many major European leagues, this deal allows Victor Osimhen to continue playing at a high level and potentially reassert his value in the transfer market before a permanent decision is made on his long-term future.
