11 Super Eagles Players Arrive in Uyo for AFCON Qualifiers

Eleven players have now arrived at the Super Eagles camp in Uyo as they prepare for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda.

Among the early arrivals on Monday morning were Captain William Troost-Ekong, Ademola Lookman, Ola Aina, and Taiwo Awoniyi.

Caretaker head coach Augustine Eguavoen also made his way to Uyo from Belgium on Monday, along with one of his assistants, Fidelis Ilechukwu.

Victor Boniface, the forward from Bayer Leverkusen, was the last player to join the camp on Monday night. The remaining 12 players are expected to arrive on Tuesday.

The Super Eagles are set to hold their first official training session on Tuesday at the practice pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
