Nigerian singer Spryo has revealed his decision to embrace celibacy in a recent Instagram post.
The 33-year-old artist shared his internal conflict over premarital sex, admitting that although he enjoyed it, he felt guilty afterward. S
pryo explained that after much reflection and prayer, he decided to cut ties with anything that tempted him to continue down that path.
“Sex felt good, but I struggled with my conscience,” Spryo wrote. “Every time I engaged in premarital sex, I felt troubled, as if a part of me was being taken away.”
He continued, “I struggled for a while but prayed for strength. When the time came, I distanced myself from all temptations. It hasn’t been easy, especially with the attention I get while traveling and the pressure from promoters, but I’m committed to keeping this bed for one now.”
