The claimants are challenging their arrest and subsequent detention without being charged to court or allowed access to their counsel. They are praying the court to declare their arrest and detention as a violation of their fundamental rights to personal liberty, privacy, and freedom of movement.

The applicants are also seeking a perpetual injunction restraining the respondents from further violating their fundamental human rights and compelling them to unconditionally release them from detention.
