The All Progressives Congress (APC) has ridiculed the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP) for their inability to resolve their lingering leadership crises, saying it is a clear indication that they cannot be trusted with the country’s administration.

In a statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday, the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, described the opposition parties as “cantankerous political rodents” who are incapable of offering responsible and visionary leadership to Nigeria.

Morka said, “It is ludicrous to tout opposition PDP and Labour Party that cannot even manage their internal affairs as capable of offering responsible and visionary leadership to Nigeria.

“The same opposition parties that Lukman devoted a good number of years lampooning as inept, chronically corrupt, unpatriotic, and destructive to our democracy.”

The APC spokesman also took a swipe at Salihu Lukman, a former National Vice Chairman of the party, for speaking against President Bola Tinubu and goading the opposition to kick him out of office in the next election.

Morka expressed shock at Lukman’s action, which he said was unbecoming of someone who once held an exalted position in the party.

He said the APC-led administration is taking bold measures to reset the country’s economy, improve national security, and restore the country to wholesome and sustainable development.
