Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has visited his Borno State counterpart, Professor Babagana Zulum, to commiserate with him and the people of the state over the recent flood disaster.
Daily Report Nigeria has reported that the floods left many dead and millions displaced in Maiduguri and other parts of the state.
Sanwo-Olu, who was accompanied by governors Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, and Abdulraman Abdulrazaq of Ondo, Adamawa, and Kwara States respectively, described the extent of the damage as “truly devastating”.

The Lagos governor commended the resilience of the people of Borno State and offered prayers for the victims of the disaster. He also highlighted the need to rally support and relief items to ensure that victims receive necessary aid.
Sanwo-Olu’s visit is a show of solidarity with the people of Borno State, and his administration has pledged to offer support in every possible way.
