Operatives of the Edo state police command have neutralized some bandits during a gun battle.

According to reports, the hoodlums were given a taste of their own medicine by the police operatives, as they foil their plans and attack.
Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the police force launched a counter attack on Sunday, September 15, following an attack by hoodlums in Njaba Local Government Area Divisional Police headquarters, Umuakah.
Confirming the incident in a statement released on Monday, September 16, the spokesperson of the command, ASP Henry Okoye said out of the suspects who invaded with sUV’s have been dispersed, with three Dead among them.
“In response, the ever gallant operatives swiftly took up defensive positions and engaged the assailants, resulting in the neutralisation of three attackers.

“The remaining assailants, who sustained various gunshot injuries, fled into nearby bushes.

“During the operation, our forces recovered one General Purpose Machine Gun, one AK-47 rifle, and three vehicles: a Toyota Lexus 470, a Mercedes GLK, and a Toyota Venza,”
