The Nigeria Police Force has announced that officers will no longer stop vehicle owners to check documents due to the implementation of the digital Central Motor Registry Information System (e-CMR).
Force Public Relations Officer Olumuyiwa Adejobi shared this update on Wednesday via social media.
With the e-CMR, police will have access to real-time document verification technology, allowing vehicle owners to forego carrying physical papers.
