A partnership between Microsoft and Flapmax has yielded remarkable results, empowering over 2,000 businesses across Africa and massively boosting the growth of Nigerian startups.

The FAST Accelerator programme, aimed at fostering local innovation, has provided startups with access to cutting-edge technologies, AI expertise, and business development support.

Flapmax reported that the programme has equipped startups in key sectors such as fintech, logistics, and energy with critical tools and resources, enabling them to scale rapidly and expand their market reach.

Nigerian fintech companies like WallX and CoTrust Equity have greatly benefited from the partnership, leveraging AI-powered solutions to enhance access to finance and streamline international transactions for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Through the FAST Accelerator, Flapmax is enabling startups to drive innovation in their industries, solve local challenges, and position themselves for global success.

WallX’s AI-driven platform allows SMEs to manage transactions and establish credit records, while CoTrust Equity offers a secure and scalable financing solution for SMEs, backed by Microsoft’s Azure technology.

The programme has also revolutionized Nigeria’s logistics industry, with startups like Trucki Technology transforming haulage operations through AI-powered route planning and telematics systems.

Also, the collaboration between Flapmax and Microsoft aims to empower startups and create long-term benefits for Africa’s digital economy.

Startups that complete the FAST Accelerator programme are eligible to join Microsoft’s Independent Software Vendor Success Programme, gaining access to Microsoft’s customer base and marketplace.

The programme has also enabled startups like Aibanc to pioneer Africa’s first subscription-based banking system, utilizing AI technology to deliver personalized financial services.
