Edo Election: APC Claims Early Lead, Warns Against Fake Results

APC Members Traveling to Abuja For NASS Inauguration Die in Auto Crash

The All Progressives Congress has claimed an early lead in the Edo State governorship election, warning against the circulation of fake results.

In a statement, APC spokesperson Felix Morka said, “We urge the Edo state electorate and the general public to disregard these bogus and highly speculative reports.”

Morka emphasized that the collation of results is still ongoing and has not been concluded at the Ward or Local Government levels. “Consistent with the Electoral Act, INEC is the sole authorized body empowered to collate results and declare the winner,” he added.
