Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola praised two Arsenal players after their 2-2 Premier League draw at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

Guardiola commended Riccardo Calafiori for his “exceptional goal” and acknowledged the strength of Gabriel Magalhães.

The match saw goals from Erling Haaland, Calafiori, Gabriel, and John Stones, resulting in a point for each team.

In his post-match interview, Pep Guardiola said: “A lot happened in those last three or four minutes. We fought with passion, like we have for the past two years, against a team determined to challenge us for the Premier League title.

“Calafiori scored an exceptional goal. We should have defended better for their second, but credit to them. Gabriel is incredibly strong.

“They consistently block players at the near post. It happens every game, and you have to give them credit for it.”
