Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the accused, Daniel Amaso invaded the apartment of the minor with a knife, before proceeding to commit the crimes.
A man, Daniel Amaso has bagged life sentence, amongst other sentences for robbing and raping a 17-year-old Niger Delta university student.
The accused was said to have committed the crime in Amassoma community, Southern Ijaw LGA, as he forcefully entered the student’s apartment with a knife, and raped her under duress and robbed her of her phone afterwards.

Daniel was found guilty of three counts before the Bayelsa State high court sitting in Yenagoa, which was presided by Hon. Justice Christine Kombo-Enegesi. Rape
He was found guilty of the crimes and sentenced to life imprisonment for the offences of rape and armed robbery and 7 years for the offence of inflicting grievous harm.
