Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the gunmen kidnapped a couple, and one other person in Etsako Central Local Government Area of Edo State.
A group of unknown gunmen have kidnapped a couple, and one other person at about 7pm on Sunday, September September 30 along Fugar-Ekperi road in the locality while returning from an event.
Confirming the incident in a statement released to newsmen, the PRO of the Edo state police command, SP Moses Yamu said the police are doing all things possible to secure the release of the victims.

“The police are on the trail of the kidnappers and will soon effect the release of the victim and arrest the perpetrators”, he said.
He further added that one of the victims escaped from the kidnappers during the process of moving them from one place to another, leaving the couple in the kidnappers’ den.
A source, who pleaded anonymity, told newsmen that hunters in the area are currently combing the bush with a view to rescuing the victims
