President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his commitment to restructuring the economy for the benefit of Nigerians, stating that he is not currently focused on his re-election or the 2027 general elections.

He made this declaration at the 2024 South West Assembly of the All Progressives Congress held at the Eko Hotels, Victoria Island, Lagos.

“I’m not thinking about 2027 elections; I’m thinking about how to make the economy better for Nigerians,” Tinubu said, represented by his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila.
