A woman has been apprehended by the EFCC for the illegal possession and and attempted importation of of hard drugs.

According to reports, the woman, was said to have been caught at the airport, with the strange items, tons of Canadian loud.
Operatives of the National Drug Enforcement Agency have arrested a Canadian nationals for allegedly importing hard drugs into the country.
Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the woman, Adrienne Munju, 41 had arrived at the Muritala Muhammad international airport, Ikeja.

The suspect was reportedly arrested during an inward clearance of passenger, and a large consignment of hard drugs, popularly known as ‘Canadian loud’
.Confirming the arrest, the Director, Media & Advocacy, NDLEA Headquarters, Abuja, in a statement released on Sunday, said Adrienne, who was coming to Nigeria for the first time was found with 74 parcels of the illicit substance weighing 35.20 kilograms stuffed in two of her three bags during a joint examination of her three bags.

While speaking, the suspect said she was recruited to do the job through an online platform which would pay $10,000 to deliver the consignment to Lagos Nigeria, successfully.
Adrienne also explained that she took the offer because she needed the money to pay for her ongoing master’s degree programme in Canada
