The deceased, identified as Dr. Levy Makama Pondu, who was a Lecturer with the Department of Business Administration, Kaduna Polytechnic was kidnapped on August 16, 2024, while heading back from farm.
It was gathered that Pondu had gone to the farm to pay staffs who work for him when the incident happened.
Daily Report Nigeria also gathered that the kidnappers ended Pondu’s life after collecting ransom twice.
Taking to social media to mourn the lecture, family members, students and also colleagues described him as a philanthropist, intelligent, dedicated, helpful and father of all.
