A shocking case of paternity fraud has left many perplexed after a man discovers he’s not the father of his two children.
The marriage of Eunice Mururi and Farai Hatirarami has been thrown in turmoil, and has reportedly crumbled, after DNA test revealed a pastor who officiated his marriage fathered his two children.

Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the issue came more into light after Mururi took pastor Vhetu, of the End Time Messages church in Chiredzi to court, seeking US$700 in monthly child maintenance for the two children, aged 8 and 4.
During the hearing, the Pastor Vhetu surprisingly admitted to being the father of the children, while pleading for a lower payment sentence.
According to Vhetu, his income is minimal as he only gets paid through tight and offering from the church, adding that he could only afford 150 ZiG per child as maintenance.

Also explaining, Vhetu added that he is a farmer and father of eight, and he is charged with the responsibility of also buying them new clothes, adding that new clothes should only be bought in June or December, sarcastically stating, “only Elon Musk’s children receive new clothes every month.”
Delivering her judgement, Magistrate Diana Musiiwa describes the pastor as “insincere” while also ruling that he must pay US$175 per month for both children.
