Men of the Lagos state police command have arrested three people, for the possession of human part.

According to reports, the operatives of the Rapid Response Squad had intercepted a vehicle with two suspects, Amohullahi 30 and Abubakar Isah 32, during a stop and search operation on the Otedola Bridge on October 15, 2024.

It was gathered that the operatives found human part with the duo, specifically, tongues.

Confirming the arrest, the command’s PRO SP Benjamin Hundeyin said the suspects were found with the human tongues in a taxi.

He also added that the two arrested suspect led the police to another man, Gbolahan Temidayo, in Temidayo, in Oyingbo Market, Lagos, whom they alleged purchased the human part from.

“The investigation is ongoing at the command headquarters, and if found culpable, the suspects will be charged in court,” he added
