It was gathered that Dashe, who was running the the post of the president was said to have been kidnapped during the event, and was later found in a swimming pool at a social event held a night before the election.

Taking to social media to demand for justice, a Facebook user, Tesla Investment gave an insight on the incident.

He said;

He was killed on Friday, October 25, yet they’re trying to frame his death as a pool drowning during a party. This young man was a skilled swimmer, so this explanation doesn’t add up.

“He traveled to Port Harcourt to contest in the Nigeria Institute of Civil Engineering (NICE-SA) elections, which were scheduled for Saturday, October 26. But he died the day before. We just want to know the truth because everyone we’ve asked is giving us conflicting stories.

“Now, one of the NICE-SA leaders, who was responsible for depositing his body at the mortuary, left Port Harcourt with all the members who attended the election. They’ve fled, and we haven’t been able to retrieve his body since, as he’s the only one authorized to sign it out.

Another Facebook user, who reacted in a video said the association sent a condolences message to Dashe’s family, school etc less than 20 minutes after his demise.

“The question we are asking is which hospital declared him dead. If he had attended a pool party, where was it held, and who were the attendees? A person can’t die without any explanation. There must be a proper investigation,” he added

“We urge law enforcement agencies to conduct a thorough, impartial investigation into Dashe’s death. We demand justice for our fallen students and call on the relevant authorities to leave no stone unturned in uncovering the truth

“Notably, we request that Salisu Usman Danvice, the current NICESA President from Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology Wudil Kano, be invited for questioning. As the pioneer of the program and a witness in Port Harcourt, his testimony is crucial in shedding light on the events leading up to Dashe’s untimely demise.
