FLASH: Cultists Shoot Man To Death In Edo | Daily Report Nigeria

A group of Gunmen suspected to be cultists have killed a man in Edo state.

Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the victim, identified as Mr Danladi, who was actively planning his wedding in December was killed by the gunmen in a shop in Oredo Local Government Area of the state.

According to an eyewitness who pleaded anonymity, the victim, who was at his friend’s shop was killed just 100 meters from the Esigie Police Division in the local government area.

He added that the assailant emerged from a GLK Benz jeep and shot him twice at close range.

‘Danladi is an easygoing guy. He was the son of Seriki Hausa in the area. His death has created a huge vacuum in his family and a painful loss to his would-be wife.

“He has started sending invitation cards for his wedding to guests. He was billed to tie the knot with his partner in December,” the source said

 

Speaking on the incident, the spokesperson of the command, SP Moses Yamu said;

“The command is doing everything within the law to tame cultism in the state.

“The situation has been brought under control,” he said.
