The Coalition of Nigerian Youth Leaders (CONYL), the umbrella body representing youth groups across the country’s six geopolitical zones, has officially endorsed Seyi Tinubu as their candidate for the Governorship of Lagos State in 2027.

In a statement released on Tuesday from Owerri, CONYL’s leadership, including President General Comrade Goodluck Ibem, Secretary Comrade Junard Abubakar, Public Relations Officer Comrade Iniobong Sampson, and Publicity Secretary Comrade Adeyemo Adewale, revealed that the decision was made after a thorough evaluation of the qualities and leadership traits of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, especially during his tenure as governor of Lagos State.

The group pointed to President Tinubu’s transformational leadership, which they say elevated Lagos to its status as the “Center of Excellence.”

They believe Seyi Tinubu, as the son of the former governor, will not only build upon his father’s legacy but will exceed it by delivering even greater development for the state.
