The Federal Government has spent N92 billion on the rehabilitation of 74 federal roads across 24 states in the past four months.
This intervention, aimed at addressing critical road failures, was part of a broader initiative launched in October 2023, where the Ministry of Works received approval to urgently rehabilitate 260 road projects across the country.
In January 2024, the government allocated N108.5 billion from a total of N217 billion set aside for these repairs.
Recent records show that N92 billion was disbursed between August and November 2024 for repairs on roads spanning 24 states.
