NNPCL to Hand Over Nigerian Refineries to Private Firms

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has launched its state-of-the-art Production Monitoring Command Centre (PMCC).

This is contained in a statement issued on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday.

According to NNPC Ltd, the PMCC provides a centralized, real-time view of hydrocarbon production and transportation activities, ensuring seamless integration of data and processes.

The centre delivers solutions through its centralized monitoring, advanced analytics, and collaborative platform, enabling swift anomaly detection, reducing unplanned disruptions, and promoting operational stability.

NNPC Ltd’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi O. Soneye, highlighted the company’s achievement in increasing crude oil production to 1.8 million barrels per day and natural gas production to 7.4 billion standard cubic feet per day.
