Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, has been invited by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, to take a tour of the Port Harcourt Refinery.

NNPCL, in a statement on Thursday, explained that the invitation is aimed at allowing Obasanjo to verify the operational status of the oil processing facility in Rivers State.

Recall that the ex-president, in an interview with Channels Television, had questioned the operational capacity of the Port Harcourt refinery, which recently resumed operations.

However, NNPCL highlighted its achievements and encouraged Obasanjo to visit the facility.
