The Lagos state police command has once again reaffirmed that it doesn’t condone any form of assault, as a teacher caught assaulting a pupil is remanded.
Daily Report Nigeria recalls a viral video of a woman beating and slapping a three-year-old pupil for allegedly ‘not being able to write number 7’.
In recent news, the woman, identified as Stella Nwadigbo, a 45-year-old woman was arraigned in Magistrate Court 1, Ogba today, January 9, 2025.

She was charged with bordering on indecent treatment and assault of a child. She pleaded not guilty to the charges. Chief Magistrate O. Kushanu granted her N200,000 bail with two sureties in like sum.
She has subsequently been remanded in the Kirikiri maximum prison, till February 18, when the case will be heard again.
