Borno South senator, Ali Ndume, has disclosed that his criticism is not directed at President Bola Tinubu personally, but rather at some of the policies of his administration.

Appearing on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Tuesday, Ndume said, “I am not criticising the President but his policies. I am not a critic of this government; it is our government.”

He emphasized, “I don’t criticise my elders. I am the son of a soldier, and in the barracks, we respect our elders. Tinubu is my elder, and I respect him, but I disagree with him on some areas, hoping to agree.”

Ndume has been vocal about the economic situation under Tinubu, accusing those around the president of shielding him from the truth about Nigerians’ suffering.
