The suspect was said accused of sodomizing a 12-year-old boy.

It was gathered that he had been molesting the minor for two years now.
Men of the Delta state Police command have arrested one Volte Bale, a 26-year-old for rape.
Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the suspect, who is said to be a barber allegedly sodomized a 12-year-old boy in the state.
This happened in Ugborikoko community in Uvwie Local Government Area of the state.

Reports from the spokesperson of the command, SP Edafe Bright, the suspect was arrested on January 7, 2025 following a complaint by a man from the community.
It was gathered that the complaint had said the victim invited him to his barbing saloon, where he committed the crime.
The PPRO said;
On January 7, 2025, at about 1930 hours, the DPO Ugborikoko Division received a complaint from a man (name withheld) of Ugborikoko community, that at about 0800hours of January 4, 2024, they received a complaint from their 12-year-old son (name withheld) that their neighbour one Volte Bale, 26, invited him to his barbing salon,”

He added that the suspect then logged into a pornographic site, and told the victim that they should practice what they were watching.
“The suspect then allegedly def!led the 12-year-old boy through his mouth and anus, and preliminary investigation also revealed that he has been defiling the victim for the past two years,” he added.
Edafe added that the suspect has been arrested, and an investigation has began.
He further stated that following medical examinations, the victim tested for STI.
