JUST IN: NAFDAC Busts Fake Alcohol Store In Port Harcourt

• Operatives of the NAFDAC have shut down a store for selling substandard drinks.

• The man was caught washing bottles, which he uses to refill fake alcohols.

• He was arrested in Mile 3 market in Port Harcourt.

Operatives of the National Administration For Food, Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC have stormed Mile 3 market, shutting down a shop in the process.

According to reports, the agency apprehended a man identified Anthony Chidi in the market in Diobu, Port Harcourt.

Confirming the arrest, the body added that Anthony produces fake and counterfeit alcoholic drinks, In a dirty environment.

The statement released stated that Anthony was seen refiling the already used bottles of other alcohol drinks with substandard drinks with the purpose of reselling.
