Controversial Nigerian critic, Verydarkman has come online to respond to lawsuits levied against him by gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo.
Recall that Mercy Chinwo, in a law suite dated 3rd March, 2025, Chinwo dragged VDM to court, stating that his videos are defamation of her character, and her brand.
She demanded N1.1bn, amongst other things like a public apology and deletion of such contents.

In recent news, VDM has come online, where he is seen crying sarcastic and laughing at her.
He also listed a group of people who have sued him, stating that he doesn’t have money to pay all, adding that she should bring it down to five million naira.
“Una go kee me, the money wey dey inside the NGO sef no reach that amount. I know this case is not a case I can go on, so it is better I tender an apology. Mercy, don’t let the devil use you. I don’t have N1bn to pay in case you win. Abeg, I am not saying you should not sue, reduce the money, maybe to N5m,” he said.

The groups described the allegations as “false” and “politically motivated,” claiming that Akpoti-Uduaghan has a history of making unsubstantiated claims of sexual harassment against prominent figures.
