FG Probes Suspended Senator Natasha’s Attendance at IPU Meeting

  • The Federal Government has launched an investigation into suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s attendance at the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) meeting in New York.

  • The investigation is focused on how Akpoti-Uduaghan gained access to the meeting without official nomination by Nigeria.

    The Department of State Service (DSS) and the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) are conducting the probe.

The Federal Government has launched an investigation into how suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan of Kogi Central gained access to the recent Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) meeting in New York without official nomination by Nigeria.

According to sources within the President Bola Tinubu administration, the investigation is ongoing.

Sources confirmed that the Department of State Service (DSS) and the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) were conducting the probe.

The investigation is focused on uncovering the circumstances surrounding Akpoti-Uduaghan’s attendance at the IPU meeting.

Pro-Akpabio Protesters Storm UN Building, Demand Evidence from Natasha

Protesters under the aegis of Women for Change Vanguard took to the streets, marching to the United Nations office in Abuja on Friday.

The protesters, chanting solidarity songs and displaying banners, challenged Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan to provide evidence of the alleged sexual harassment she accused Senate President Godswill Akpabio of.
