Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the incident, which occurred in the Karu-Nyanya Road in Abuja, saw a large inferno hit the area, claiming a yet-to-be-ascertained number of unsuspecting victims and many vehicles.
According to an eyewitness who confirmed the incident, the explosion sent shivers down the spine of many, following it’s three consecutive blasts.
The video making rounds online shows people trying to capture the blast on camera, and then run away when it goes off again.
FG Reveals cause of Abuja Explosion
The federal government has interfered, concerning the ghastly fire outbreak and that rocked Abuja on Wednesday, March 19.
According to reports from the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative, the Abuja accident was caused by a faulty brake and brake failure on the part of the driver of the Petrol Tanker.
It involves a CNG truck, and other vehicles which serves as catalyst to the blast.
While expressing condolences to the family of the deceased and victims, the body urged the public to exercise patience until a thorough investigation is carried out on the cause of the explosion.
Recall that Daily Report Nigeria had earlier reported a ghastly gory news of an explosion in Abuja.
The Abuja explosion occured around 7pm along the Abuja-Nyanya-Keffi Road, at Karu Bridge Abuja, burning everything around it.
