Media personality Coach Oleju Kate has sparked conversation online after declaring that she cannot marry a man who doesn’t serve in church or believe in paying tithes.

In a video shared on social media on Wednesday, the outspoken coach outlined the traits that automatically disqualify any potential suitor.

She insisted that her ideal partner must be actively involved in a church department and committed to the principles of tithing.

“If you’re not serving in any department in your church, or you’re not serving as a steward anywhere, you cannot marry me,” she said. “If you don’t believe in tithe as a man, I don’t believe that I’m your wife.”

Her remarks have triggered mixed reactions, with some applauding her for standing by her values and others questioning the strict criteria.

Lagos Police Interrogate Pastor Adefarasin Over Alleged Weapon Display

The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that Pastor Paul Adefarasin, founder of House on the Rock Church, voluntarily presented himself for questioning following a viral video showing him with what appeared to be a gun-like object during a roadside interaction.

In a statement released via its official X account on Tuesday, the Command stated:
“No one is above the law!
Pastor Paul Adefarasin has turned himself in at the Lagos State Police Command Headquarters, Ikeja and is currently being interrogated by detectives who have commenced investigation on the case since a video surfaced online showing the pastor holding a gun-like object against another road user, while driving in an unregistered vehicle.”
