The Deputy President of the 9th Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, has congratulated the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on his 62nd birthday, describing his political journey as inspiring and worthy of celebration.
In a personally signed goodwill message released on Thursday, Omo-Agege extended warm wishes to the governor, whom he referred to as “my brother,” and prayed that the new age would usher in a season of growth, strength, and impactful leadership.
“On this joyous occasion, my family, political associates, and I join your loved ones and well-wishers in celebrating the gift of another year in your life,” the message read.

He noted that Governor Oborevwori’s rise from a member of the Delta State House of Assembly to Speaker and now Governor reflects a strong dedication to public service and the trust reposed in him by the people of the state.
The former Deputy Senate President expressed hope that the governor would continue to receive divine guidance and take decisions that would promote prosperity and stability across Delta State.
“May this birthday mark the beginning of an exciting new chapter, filled with endless opportunities for growth, progress, and transformative change,” he said.
