At 36, Balogun brings the kind of leadership and experience that fits perfectly with a team hungry to hold onto their domestic title and make waves in Europe.

Balogun won three major titles during his two stints at Rangers (2020–22 and 2023–25), including the Scottish Premiership, Scottish League Cup, and Scottish Cup.

All of those achievements showcase his knack for stepping up when it matters most.

Balogun will reunite with former teammate Connor Goldson, reviving a partnership that once anchored the defence with strength and balance.

Together, they’re expected to not only steady the defence but also lead by example.

Now that Aris Limassol has won their first league title, they’re aiming for a strong run in the Europa Conference League.

Balogun’s wealth of experience in European competitions makes him the ideal man to help turn that ambition into reality.

At 36, his grit and composure reflect Aris Limassol’s ambition, making this signing a bold statement from both player and club.
