The 17th edition of the Headies Awards lit up the Landmark Event Centre in Lagos on Sunday, April 27, 2025, as it celebrated the leading talents in the Nigerian and African music industries.

Among the evening’s biggest winners were Zerry DL, Tems, Flavour, Rema, and Davido, each recognized for their outstanding contributions over the past year.

The glittering ceremony attracted high-profile figures from both the entertainment and political worlds, including Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who made a notable appearance.

The red carpet buzzed with celebrities such as Tanzanian singer Juma Jux and his wife Priscilla, actress Nancy Isime, Bamike Olawunmi-Adenibuyan (widely known as BamBam), socialite Cubana Chief Priest, and Big Brother Naija 2021 winner White Money.

Other special guests in attendance included Collins Enebeli Ajereh, the father of Mavin Records’ boss Don Jazzy, and Lagos State Commissioner for Information, Gbenga Omotoso.
