Men of the Nigerian troops have once again clapped back at banditry and terrorism in Zamfara State, as they neutralize members of a bandit syndicate in the state.
According to reports, the troops of 1 Brigade, Nigerian Army combat the terrorists during the current ongoing military operations in Zamfara State.

According to reports, the operation was carried out by troops of Combat Team 6, while on a fighting patrol in Talata Mafara and Kaura Namoda Local Government Areas in the state.
On May 1, the troop engaged a large heavily armed terrorist group while they invaded Mai Kwanugga village in Talata Mafara LGA.
The terrorist had unleashed terror on innocent victims, killing and destroying properties before they were combatted by the troop.
The gun duel led to the death of several high profile bandits generals named Auta Jijji, Dankali, Sagidi, Kachallah Rijaji and Kachallah Suza.
The recovered arms and ammunition included: 4 x AK-47 Rifles 1 x PKT General Purpose Machine Gun 2 x Rocket-Propelled Grenade Launchers 6 x Rocket-Propelled Grenade Bombs 28 x 7.62mm Special Rounds, 43 x PKT Ammunition Rounds
Ogun Traders Escape Death As Train Derails On Highway
A serious incident was averted on Friday as a passenger train derailed along the Abeokuta–Odeda–Ibadan Highway, nearly hitting several traders and customers in the area.
The derailment led to the closure of the busy road and caused significant traffic delays.
