• Profession: Former Nigerian international goalkeeper
• Profile:
Popularly known as “Dodo Mayana,” Rufai was a key figure in Nigerian football history. He played for clubs in Nigeria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal, and Spain, most notably Hércules CF and Deportivo La Coruña. He earned 65 international caps, captained Nigeria at the 1998 FIFA World Cup, and was part of the AFCON 1994 winning team. Post-retirement, he ran a goalkeeping academy and contributed to sports development in Nigeria and abroad.

🇳🇬 Oba Owolabi Olakulehin
